PAN is network that was borne out of the cerebral discussions that participants of the maiden Presidential Youth Mentorship Retreat had with President Olusegun Obasanjo on has the vision to develop a generation of youths who are self-sustaining, creative, and innovative. Its

mission to empower youths with useful information and create channels to network productively through social, economic, educational, political, and technological initiatives and resourcefulness for income generation and self-sufficiency.

Some of the objectives of PAN include to create platforms for young Africans to be able to influence positive change in member states and the continent at large, through dialogue and action; enhance literacy skills in arts, media, science and most significantly in technology amongst the youths; develop in young people the enthusiasm to actively participate in politics; and to challenge policies and legislation inimical to educational, social, technological, economic and political progress of Africa.
